The Capture Fisheries Division (Bidang Perikanan Tangkap) is a core unit responsible for the formulation and execution of policies related to the management of fishing resources, fishing vessels, and fishing ports across the province.
We work closely with local fishermen, cooperatives, and national bodies to implement sustainable fishing practices, modernize equipment, and ensure compliance with maritime laws. Our goal is to boost productivity while strictly preserving the marine ecosystem for future generations.
